Man if I was you I'd use a hammock. Super compact and you can still utilize your motorcycle. And the mat I usually use is a sea to summit camp plus. Hasnt failed me yet. Im about 220lbs and it stay inflated all night.

Maybe it’s just me, but I would bring camping gear (2-3 days worth) and a fishing rod if I was planning on doing any kind of serious drinking. That way, if you get pulled over by the police, you’re not a boozer, you were camping. It’s the same logic as carrying a baseball and a mitt if you’re going to carry a baseball bat in your car, or carrying a piece of salami and bread if you’re going to carry a knife... 😁

I know this video is from 2017. I have two of the Suunto Clipper, the first one bought sometime in 2019 and it did not break and nothing has fallen. Yet. Last one I recently paid 18 euros. I've tripped with aluminum poles and bent the pole in the process. I have never tirpped using a wooden walking stick. I prefer the walking stick, even over to use of a cane which I think alters a person's center of gravity in way that a walking stick does not.
